Two pics of my kit from last weekend

This should be two pics from the kit I wore at the event in Tokyo last weekend.
If you go here: http://photos.yahoo.com/rainaldk2
and look in the yahoo album they are labeled "blackhole event" and blackhole2" or something close.

Let me know what you think.

If you really want to do it right: Make sure your properly hydrated. Moderate the booze the night before. Get a good nights sleep. A large breakfast of steak and eggs works well. Ya know a person with a loose version of ethics would have grabbed a couple of 100 yen coins and found a coin-op laundry to accomplish that task. Image

I use a 6" paddded glaive. It is made out of the same type high density foam used to make womans platform type shoes. The foam is light, dense and tough as hell. Or if you don't mind working:

Standard cold chisel, hammer and something flat to pound it on. I cut out a set of legs like this in stainless once. It's actually fairly fast once you get the groove going.

Greaves,demi-gaunts, breast/back plate, tassests, faulds, spaulder, simple elbow cops, loaner legs with simple steel knee cops. I have made tons of stuff out of it. Roll the edges, add fluting and don't have any flat surfaces and it's tough enough for SCA use unless your a human pell. As far as your...

Moving to Meridies soon, calibration levels / targeting nowd

After 5 years of self imposed banishment I find myself soon leaving the outer reaches of the West Kingdom and returning to Meridies. (The Barony of the Small Grey Bear to be exact.) I am a little worried that my current calibration level, both in giving and receiving might come across as a little he...
