FS: Welded stainless maille triangles - SOLD

Two welded stainless maille triangles sized approx 6" x 9" - http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8221/8291 ... bbfc_b.jpg

Very light and very strong. Some seams of split rings but only noticeable up close.

Might work well for maille sabatons.

Asking $10 for the pair plus shipping.

Not personally, but I've done business with him here on the archive. I'd say he's honest. He might have personal stuff going on, but will likely get back to you.

As a mailer sounds somewhat interesting. Pictures would help. Also, not clear on gauge and ring size from your measurements.

Gauging interest: brass sheet - SOLD

I have a piece of brass sheet metal, sized 10" x 8.25". 18 gauge.

Tough stuff.

Tarnished on one side and has a rough cut on one edge.

Any interest?

FS: 9" Hand shear

9" Hand shear. Looks less than pretty but in good shape and functional.

Won't cut 18 gauge metal, but should be good for 20 gauge or less, and softer materials.

Asking $15 plus shipping.

Re: Great deal on eBay

You've completely overlooked the obvious. The reason it's so expensive is that it is an EXACT replica of a deepeeka piece, down to the cheap pressed brass rivet escucheon plates. But it's fabricated in the U.S. by an artisan who obviously spared no expense to copy the authentic indian piece (circa ...

Thanks for the link Buster.

As for what I want for them, I'm not sure, but I'll come to a fair price if anyone's interested.

I'm also selling a viking/norman helm for a smaller head - viewtopic.php?f=3&t=157190

How thick is the metal and the leather used for the construction of the helm? What gauge wire was used for the aventail and was is the ID of the links? The steel appears to be 18 gauge. The leather isn't too thick, but appears to be hardened. Sturdy, but again not fit for SCA. 16 gauge rings, appro...

FS: Viking/Norman helm - SOLD

Steel and leather Viking helmet with butted galvanized spring steel mail aventail. Better looking than the pictures shows. Includes some foam padding on the inside. Definitely not SCA legal, but pretty decent construction. Would work for LARP or costume. Sizing - I have a 24 inch head and it does no...

Don't have a scale handy, but with the sleeves I believe it comes to 18-20 pounds. Also, this is new, never fought in.

I need the cash, but I would consider trades. Other maille(doesn't have to be another shirt) would interest me most.
