FS: Welded stainless maille pieces - SOLD

I have three pieces of 3/16" ID welded stainless maille in a diamond shape. Two are 14x14, the other approx 13x13. To answer the obvious question, these can be laid out as squares but the rings will be overlapping diagonally rather than left to right. These are unfinished, but will be completed befo...

FS: Welded chainmail commission

Courtesy of Atlanta Armory I have several feet of 3/16" ID welded stainless maille material. I have enough material to make a vest, voiders, sleeves, apron, etc. I connect the ends not by welding but by using quality split rings(made in USA, fishing strength). You'll still have a welded maille produ...

FS: Welded stainless sleeves - SOLD

I have a long sleeved stainless upper shirt that can possibly used as voiders. The ring size is 3/32, the smallest welded material commercially available. I have a 48 inch chest and this fits me fine. I opened it up in front previously to add an extension but didn't get around to it. If need be I ca...

Got the greaves and they're just as described at a bargain price to boot.

It's been a pleasure doing business with Matt. He's also the friendliest reenactor you'll find online.

Re: Orc Armor and Weapons for Sale

Hmm, tempted by the greaves. They are pretty long, I'm guessing they cover up well past the knee?

Your prices are fair, so if you have to go the ebay route, you should easily get some buyers.

Too bad this wasn't gondor or elvish armor. If so, I'd be really interested.

This also covers the plating underneath.

Couple questions on this. Are these made from multiple glued layers of linen?

And what kind of plating underneath?

Hmm. My experience with annodized aluminum maille is what the ring lord makes, and supposedly their's is fairly endurable. Depends on the type of annodizing I guess, I've read online there are various degrees of annodization.
