Functionality trumps appearance, IMHO. :)

No apology necessary Pitbull. I'm only selling it cause I need the money not because I am in any way displeased with it...

Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on that.

Fs: Leather C-Belt

I'm in a bit of a pinch this month and could use some help to pay rent on-time. Here's one of Pitbull's C-belts for use with your leg armor. Unused, no holes punched. Quality piece and I would definitely buy another one from him in the future. Sized to fit approx 40-44 inch waist. Asking $50 shipped...

LTB: Dual core CPU

I picked up a copy of Mass effect 2 for the PC only to find I met all the specs except for my CPU. Does anyone have a dual core cpu(preferably with a motherboard) that they don't need anymore?

Brian Brown Armory or knitebee here on the archive could do something nice for you in that price range.

I haven't received the gauntlets he just finished in the mail yet, but I should soon.

How many inches of steel can it cut through in one thrust?

Or is it only good against plastic armored troopers?

Got some of somomailler' s work in the maille today. A section of spring steel 16 gauge 1/4 ID. I'm pleased and the price tag was reasonable.

Communication was good, completion time, FAST.

FS Welded chainmail mesh front piece

Anyone interested in welded maille mesh? I have a butcher's vest here, in great shape, no missing links. It's large enough to cover an entire front torso from the chest down to the knees. Roughly 40 inches top to bottom, and 32 from side to side. Can be worn as a sleeveless half hauberk, or there's ...

Then again, there is a difference in composition of spring-steel alloys and the hardenable steel Julio mentioned. Someone should try some arrow tests against modern spring steel maille. The butted rings are easy to come by. Though butted of any variety wouldn't likely survive arrow contact anyway. ...
