I'm mainly interested in the 3/16, if anyone wants the darkened stainless piece (6" x 14"), we can split it.

Maille rivet improvise

With maille rivets hard to come by, try these

I'm probably not the first bloke to consider using them, but I've had success with using 17 gauge wire nails.

Pretty cheaply found at Home Depot or the like.

Anyone else?

You may have sold them by now, if it wasn't really rough out there right now. Seems like its really hard to sell anything, even at a good deal.

Good luck.

WeldedChainmail.com round wire?

I know Knutt's maille is famous around here, and everybody seems to be interested in the flat variety.

According to his website however he offers round maille too on special order. Anyone ever see any of his welded round maille?

Elizabethe,

Yeah don't take it personal. It's not an attack, you'll just find that members here are protective of the group.

We have a nice little community here on the archive.

If you stay long enough you'll see how it goes.

FS: Truehearth stainless shovel greaves

I have a pair of truehearth's stainless shovel greaves, 16 gauge I believe. They're great, very solid pieces of armor. The only reason I would even consider parting with them is because they're just a little too short for me. Measurements - 14 inches from ankle bridge to bottom of the knee cop Appro...

I can get exact measurements when I get home from work. It's a large, as it fits me with plenty of room for padding. I have a 23 inch head.

I'll get some more pics too.

Thanks for the interest.

It's a line from the movie.

Lancelot "rescues" Galahad from a castle full of virgins.

Galahad says, "Bet you're gay!"

Launcelot: "Am not!"
