FS: welded maille shirt

I'm looking to upgrade. I have a nice large 5/32 welded maille shirt to offer. It fits me fine with a 42 inch chest. Should fit up to 44 inches. Length is about 24 inches. This shirt has been worn a few times, has not seen combat. I paid about $200 for it, want to get around $175 plus shipping.

mini welded maille bits

I have some small stainless 3/32 welded maille bits for offer here.

Most are too small for armor applications, but would work well for other applications like jewelry, wrist bands, watches, etc.

24 gauge.

First review -

My pair of greaves from audax arrived. Well formed, solid, and nice looking.

I would recommend her as a leather armorer and look forward to seeing more of her work.

it's not historic European, but consider split rings. Stronger than butted, easier than riveted, less expensive than welded. FYI.

I've used ketchup to remove tarnish from brass rings. It may depend on the type of brass, the extent of the tarnish, but it worked well for me and its much less chemically offensive than brasso.

They say milk can be used too as it is acidic in nature.

Ty finditarmory.com

He has some hamata shirts with alternating punched and riveted.

The guy who runs that site seems to be reputable. No problems I've heard of.

If you find any other sources, let us know. :)

FS: Truehearth Gorget w/ brass - SOLD

Truehearth(m) made me this gorget. Stainless 18 gauge with brass trim. The brass collar is held with a 18g stainless underneath making it suitable for SCA combat. Plus it looks sweet. Has been worn once or twice. Has not seen combat. Figured I'd sell it so someone else can make good use of it, and I...
