Thanks for the kind words. Don't worry about getting them hit. I have used them on my armour and they have been hit many times without breaking. If one breakes send me the broken bits and I'll send you a new one.

Measured with a tape on the outside it is 10" from point to point across the eye brows. Itis right at 6" from outer point to outer point of the eye opening.

A 40" chest is in the range of this size. I have some leather patches that I cut to see on once u figured out exactly where the arming points for the harness I was working on were going to be. I will send them along. Do you want it?

And what waist? P.S. Sorry to hear about your knee. I used to enjoy fighting bear pit tourneys with you. The site lists 38" - 44"/ 96cm - 112cm but in my experience that is very flexible. I had a larger waist than the largest size and I can fit into a medium if need be. These are highly adjustable.

Size large is listed as 40" - 46"/ 101cm - 117cm You could be a bit larger or smaller depending on how tight or loose you laced it.
