See that is where you are mistaken. You looked at a black and white photo. Here is the original color version.

Re: Have you, or would you ever consider, changing your SCA

My wife and I have changed our names. I went from Talbot Mac Taggart to William Talbot and she went form Freydis Haakonsdottir to Amy Talbot. I use Talbot as my one and only name (Like Cher and Bono) and she uses Amy as much an anything. Neither of us minds if others use our old names or our new one...

Re: d'Aubernoun's poleyn

I believe it is a cop with lames and I have patterned it out as such. When someone shoes me an authentic surviving cop with these flanges I will be happy to change my opinion of them. I just do not believe they ever existed. I would be glad to be proven wrong since it will increase our knowledge of ...

Re: Leather vambraces found in Estonia

I think you will have to translate it yourself. I have corresponded with the author (Ain Mäesalu) several times over the years. He grew up under Soviet rule and speaks no English so there is little hope of a published full English version. However, you are welcome to share your translations with the...

I shoot at least once a week so shooters are great. However also have a collection of old guns as well. If it can't be shot I'm probably not interested. If it shouldnt be shot to preserve value I might still be interested.

I'll take the assembled Von Prankh if you can tell me what the inside dimensions are, including the height from the top to the ocular. Thanks! -Gerhard (p.s. I love the label on the box it's sitting on. "hose, braises, Doug's towel." We know where the dirty stuff goes after events! Ha.) I...

Student made, partially finished armour and parts 1/2 price

In the early 2000s I ran a club in the high school metal shop called "Armour Club." Students came and went. Some made excellent armour, some made OK armour and some never finished. This fall I cleaned out the cabinet that held all the unfinished parts and I am offering them to you for sale...

Trade--Thames River Longsword for firearm. What do you have?

I have this gorgeous Thames River Longsword made by Del Tin. This sword was then carefully improved by delicate file work to make all the edges perfect and to add the little details that needed to be there and make it a work of art. To top it off the sword was encased a beautiful handmade leather co...

There are Russian capture K98s here locally for under $400. I would be glad to help you get one. I see them for $330 plus tax, shipping and transfer. I'm jealous. I'd love to pick one up in decent condition. Does your local place have a web presense? I am a 03FFL so I can have them ship directly to...

2 packs of Talbots Fine Accessories Belt Mounts 40% off SOLD

I have two packs of belt mounts for sale. These are for use on a 1 1/2 inch or wider belt. These are very slightly seconds. I had a helper assist with drilling them out. He used a larger drill bit than I would ordinarily use. He also did not quite drill some of the Rosette Bar Mounts as centered as ...
