I am just hoping that more then the finals end up on Youtube. I know Sir Gabriel does a decent job of getting videos up there but it would be nice to see some of the matchups besides the end of the tourney. I'll see if I can get Jim to bring his camera Joe, does an awesome job of taking fight video...

jump rope and a sweet hill will help you alot.
we have our soccer team run up a hill hard and fast and walk back down to get wind back only to rush the hill again as they hit the bottom.

Simon Redbeard here on the AA purchased an amazing 900 ft. lb CA crossbow from merrick. He is a merchant at pennsic and might be worth tracking down as his stuff is awesome.

the sweat in the eyes thing I see mentioned can easily be solved with a coif. I have one from Icefalcon and it was singlehandedly one of the best "upgrades" I've purchased yet.

I see this ring method and I am wondering why to cut off some of the wear/tear on the sander and yourself why I havent seen these rings with a mitred angle to them.
It seems like the shields take a long time to make and require a bit of work.
