Review of Torvaldr's Scrap Leather kit
I just recieved a package about the size of a phonebook full of leather scraps from Torvaldr. I can honestly say for the price and the overall utility these scrap pieces will provide that it was sure worth the few bucks it was. If you have some projects that dont require a full side than this kit is...

That helm is incredible but who would most likely have worn this type of helm?
I think I seen Duke Valharic with something similiar.

Why do you fight? I've done alot of cool things and seen alot of cool places but nothing beats this to me. I don't care if its 3 of us fighting on tuesdays or all of us at Pennsic. Nothing beats this. What group do you fight in? SCA When did you start fighting (age)? I started going to practices Ja...

Icefalcon +4 (T1000 heater shield, basket hilts, coif) not too mention the every few months order of rattan staves. Best to work with. Torvaldr +1 bazubands were incredible and exactly what I wanted. Because I ordered knowing he gets delayed and such it was no hard feelings to wait the extra 2 or 3 ...

All it takes is one really enthusiastic and friendly fighter to get two or three others enthused and next thing you know the older fighters are remembering why they started doing this hobby and start showing up too. The story of our practice last year. Horace (Pirho on here) had a friend come in ar...

Sorry to hear that Damon. I made the switch to greaves this passed weekend and fought tuesday and thursday with no cuisses Needless to say getting some splinted or gambosed cuisses is going to be the next priority. I never had the low problem wearing black pants over my articulated knees but some ha...

Younger fighters in need of teaching After I joined we had a few more people interested and by the end of the war we had more newer, younger fighters then ever at the practice it made the guys listed below even more eager to come out and get involved. 2. Accom...

For simple SCA stuff even the bright orange Black and Decker will get the job done, but I found the Bosch to have everything I've needed in the cabinet /wood working department down to a science. I think Jehan and I have very similiar tastes in tools.. only I would go with Freud for Chisels ( I don'...

Icefalcon Coif Review
I was starting to get frustrated with the amount of sweat that was pouring into my eyes each time I fought. I am very thankful to have picked up a Quilted Coif from Icefalcon this weekend.Boy the difference is astounding. Overall it fits great, looks good and really does the job well. Thanks again..
