I fight with a long sword around 40" with a thrusting tip.
its planed down to the minimum and wrapped with strapping and then a cosmetic layer of duct tape.
i'd say without an event my sword may last 4 weeks tops.
if i am fighting 2 times a week plus pell work and there is events, much less.

I bring one of those big orange coolers full of cold water to every practice.
I never thought once about "if" someone would/could sue me over it.
This new sue everyone you can mindset truly enforces the "no good deed goes unpunished" rule.

I asked about that blank for that reason. I know you like to have a sweet tourney shield in good condition on top of being able to stay on training. I figured with the work you put into the shields and their painting the prep for a tourney must be hell with just one shield. Thanks.

I really enjoyed the artwork on the shields page.

Review of Torvaldr's Scrap Leather kit

I just recieved a package about the size of a phonebook full of leather scraps from Torvaldr. I can honestly say for the price and the overall utility these scrap pieces will provide that it was sure worth the few bucks it was. If you have some projects that dont require a full side than this kit is...
