Calder, I'm purchasing the A-Frame "Norman Wedge" from Fall Creek next week. I'm getting the two door style because I want to be able to prop one side up as a day shade/display pavillion for demos as well. I've seen thier work and they are more than adequate for standing up in to dress, it...

the Dayton Masonic temple. Beautiful site. The best part being the gallery above the lists to observe the fighting. But no feast. :(

Yes Zygmunt. If Master Phillip the Pilgrim was there, and I no doubt he was, I'm sure he will post pictures in a week or so.

I didn't realize it was not possible to be a Bachelor King/Maiden Queen. What's the thinking behind this policy? A King and Queen have different duties. Several events withing the Middle are designed specifically for the Queens, Countesses and Duchesses of the Realm. The Queen is the Patron of Arts...

I throw some belief behind the idea that a KSCA should fight in each crown tourney he is able. As the best of the best, it should be his or her duty to test the physical prowess of each contender to the crown. I also understand mundane life; finances, etc. Being in the military, I could never concie...

I'd recommend Fall Creek as well. For the price, thier tents are awesome. You can always look into dying it a darker color is you want it to look closer to leather. Obeisance

In the recreation of the Middle Ages, the most common custom practiced by all of us is the act of obeisance. That means Bowing. There are many styles and forms of obeisance. Depending on your personal style and your persona, the manner in which you show respect for crowned heads may differ from anot...

yes, the key word I meant in my previous statement was DEVOUT. I'm sorry if that wasn't understood. Think of it this way. Saudi Arabia is a Muslim country. Law is based upon religious teachings. If you decide your persona would have been religious, that's great. Of course devotion is entirely individual, regardless of place or time. Not everyone in the High Middle Ages in western Europe was devoutly Catholic. I see no issue with it on the scroll or read in court. I've heard similar statemen...

Well, Lutr has sons. Perhaps Konrad has a daughter he could marry off, or the daughter of one of his barons, to secure the loyalty.

As for the location, I'd say somewhere out west, larger, flatter land. even the desert.

I'm all for Imperialism.
