Personally I always thought of black powder weapons being the pivitol point in the end of the Medieval and the begining of the Ren era.

As someone that falls on the earlier side of things, I have no problem with Romans, Celts, Vandals, etc., when it is done well. Leave the fur loincloths for the ComicCon types. It might seem a bit funny next to a late-period Elizabethean Lady, but no more than a Saxon would.

I just made me own tent out of a drop cloth from Home Depot. It's not like I'm gonna use it at Pennsic (not going :( ) So it doesnt have to stand up to much yet.

Personnally I prefer candid photos over posed shots, unless it is meant as a portrait. One of dez days I'm gonna get a good cameral like M. Pillips with a lense so big you'll never know your within reach.
