MAde of 14 gauge mild for the most part, the panels are 12 gauge mild, the ocular is 13 gauge 410 stainless. Aventail is available upon request (but would delay shipment as I would have to order it) 29" circumference, made to fit 23.5 - 24" head with extra nose room..In this pic it is not quite comp...

Ok so this helm is not quite finished. SPangenhelm, etched raven ocular, viking "face" instead of bar grill. The helm will be blackened and have some brasswork as well. Oh, and the mustache and beard will have "hair" etched on. Original deal was $600 with riveted avintail. I will post more pics when...

I have tried salt water (electro) etching, as well as acid etching using a couple other acids before I finally settled on ferric chloride. From what I remember of the electro etching, it broke down my resist very quickly.

I have a used arming coat about the size you are looking for. It no longer fits me.... It works, but it has been well used.

Yeah, unfortunately for your situation, most loner gear tends to be on the large side. I would suggest reaching out to other female fighters in your area, as they are more likely to have gear in something like your lady's size.

I have this one laying around. (made it to small, had to remake) helm is 27.5" at browband, should fit. $200.

I don't think I would speak quite so harshly as Sir Nino, but yes, be SURE a greathelm is what you want before you invest in one. Just my opinion.

I make a starter helm like the one pictured for $175, but I'm pretty jammed up right now so it would be a bit. Haljamar (forgive me for probably spelling that wrong) makes a basic starter helm for around $85, Iron monger has a fixed grill basinet for $125, and you might try looking on the sca armor ...
