Re: Anouther set of promises from Westcoast....

You know... I wonder if there is a way to turn a situation filled with vitriol into something positive? There are people here who know Brand and speak with him on a regular/semi regular basis... I wonder if enough of us in Caid got together for one weekend a month and with permission, from Brand.......

Re: Anouther set of promises from Westcoast....

Gunther - If I am wrong, I am wrong. Which is why I said we needed to wait for you to reply, should you choose to. If you do business with Brand, its just that... your business and you owe none an explanation. Thank you for not reading offense into a post where none was meant. You have an excellent ...

Re: Anouther set of promises from Westcoast....

I think I will let Gunther answer that himself, should he choose to.

To be clear, I don't have an angst against Gunther. I am sure to his view he is helping a friend and mentor, get back on the right path.

Re: Anouther set of promises from Westcoast....

Samuel, in case you were not aware... Gunther has been fronting armour made by Brand and doing the polishing steps etc himself so it doesn't have to be called Brand's work.

Re: Anouther set of promises from Westcoast....

Samuel,

In what world does that make your point?

What was your point?

Because to my view, all you did was attempt to confuse the real issue.

Re: Anouther set of promises from Westcoast....

Samuel You'll likely be shocked to know Brand doesn't owe me a thing. I'm outraged not disgruntled. Edit to add... ... you can actually tell a knight to fuck off if he tells you to do something based on his knighthood... with the belief you have in the powers of the Order, you should have no recours...

Re: Anouther set of promises from Westcoast....

Your Excellency, Sir Samuel De Grac'e, You say that you are not angry at me, nor defending Brand. In your informative reply wherein you address the implied question, "Why haven't the Knights done anything." You characterize it as "Pissy" and "Screaming into the wind." I take offense at that. Please ...

Re: Anouther set of promises from Westcoast....

Looks like more completed stuff went up on Facebook. We have a few people here who are starting to get their orders. Looks like a good start. Personally, I am going to wait until ALL of what is owed folks is completed before I purchase from Brand. Samuel - Please re-read what I posted earlier. I nev...

Re: Anouther set of promises from Westcoast....

The other thing is that you are not obligated to sue him where his business is/was located. You can file in Alaska and he'll have to answer it from California. Serving him might be tricky but if you have a buddy in Caid finding him to serve him wouldn't be difficult. He lists that he's a QA analyst ...

I wonder what you could do with a Carolingian type morion hat? One of those with a ring grill and differently shaped locking cheeks would be sexy.

Ok Nicholas this is a formulae I normally wouldn't share. Reason being is that it is a lil dangerous but far less so than most other bluing mixes. Blunt skippy.... Disassemble.... its a B*tch but break the whole thing down into component parts. Surface & finish... blueing makes little mistakes, very...

Do you stock those futhark bronze mounts? if so how much are they? I have a friend that wants a belt with futhark writing on it and I haven't seen anyone else doing them.

I'm going to offer a dissenting opinion. http://www.armourarchive.org/patterns/gothic_darvis/patterns/Breastplate_Instruct.gif model it on a segmented gothic german breastplate. You can see, in the flat, that the upper breast portion is a loose "X" by extending the pattern a bit you can make ample r...

isn't Armstreet the ones that Lloyd Clark just partnered up with? If they can't handle a rivet order how are they going to manage a line of jousting armour ?!? I've seen some nice work come from them but always at a very premium price.
