That is some spiffy work. I'm going to be the fly in the ointment though... Cause if you want to use it for SCA, the Marshal is going to bounce it. Brass rivets with no welds. Given time the brass will shear and the helm will fail. I've never seen a 3/16" brass rivet fail. When a brass rivet is pee...

Re: Ok I want Help with this issue
If those were mine, I would ask Icefalcon if it can be resized. If that isn't practical.... here's how I'd approach it. Picture borrowed from Icefalcon's website & modified crudely. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn114/clueX4_graphics/Decorated%20images/photo.jpg Ok what I attempted to show I wi...

Let me know if for some odd reason it doesn't fit you. I'd be interested again.
I ended up with the Helmet & Guantlets from Earl Dafydd's kit. When I had the chances to get the cuirass I only got the money for it a day late LoL

By "Icefalcon mace" I assume you mean the high duro rubber acorn rollers? They were introduced by Sir Omarad. Regardless they are BOMB. You can use that point of balance you describe, just like a lever, to crank fast hard blows or sudden direction/angle changes. I like getting up close & personal wi...

Would you be interested in selling the Greaves separate from the legs?
If so, Dibs pending sizing
Edit....
Ka0z - Thank you for the super quick reply. I appreciate you prefer to sell the legs as a full set. Consider dibs released untill such time as they sell or you decide to split them up.

Re: Icefalcon Armory is now carrying battle ready swords!
In case there was ANY confusion, I was referring to Kerry Stagmer/Baltimore Knife NOT his Grace IceFalcon.
IceFalcon is the definition of a stand up person and is blameless in this. It was my hope that if this was brought to his attention he would help resolve this long outstanding issue.

So far they have been really good to the team with zero issues. So does that make it ok that an archiver has gone 3 years and is out $400 with zero communication from this person? "Gee sorry you got scrued, They were great to me!" I hope Ice will help get the archiver refunded & resolve this issue.

both will show hammer marks quite well. The answer to removing them is to make them as small as possible and sand off the high spots, blending the surface. Then brush or polish.

Why not? .... cut the brass to match, then cut an extra bronze one.... Filework the brass then Silver solder on the bronze top and bottom. You could also Silver solder them together, drill the brass around the rim and peen in bronze rod, then sand it flush. If you use a predetermined length of rod, ...

I'm a 10 1/2 EEE and the 11's fit me well with a slip in gel insole & modern socks. They do have to be "Worn in" but I found that when I used a mink oil they softened and stretched comfortably.

Would this work for a heat source, for raising, on the cheap?

I'm thinking it would have the added bonus of warming the stake as well, helping to reduce loss.
Would likely be easy to rig a holder for it too...

His website is up for archival purposes.... it clearly states he stopped making armour in 2008 Matching that shouldn't be too difficult, he used 18 guage for everything and rolled just about every edge. The rolls provided enough structural support to the 18 guage that while it dented up, it rarely d...

Re: New Sole for you Fighting Types
FYI for the DIY crowd.... If you have the tools to deal with the roughing & trimming....
You can sand em rough, barge cement them and then slip them into a vaccum bag. When you pump out the air, the bag acts like a clamp.
That said..... I'd still take Frank up on his offer!
