Since the middle 1990's the only bad thing I have heard about Illusion is their wait time. At one time it was over a year.

I especially like the corazinna & the helmet/aventail but must say I don't care for the style/shape of the Klapvisor.

Greaves & sabbatons will really make the kit pop..... are you going to do gutter greaves or fully enclosed?

Mr. Belcher, I think the best way to answer your question is this. An Ashcraft helmet will protect your head and is suitable for use in SCA heavy armoured combat. The problem with them is this....
