Help me identify the maker of this helmet?

Gentles, I got this helmet in a deal with a fellow archiver. He did not know its maker, it has no markings and according to him has made the rounds of at least 3-4 archiver owners. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn114/clueX4_graphics/Viking%20Project/GEDC0040.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albu...

Re: Life happens.

I got together the extra $50 on the vambs because of my closet cleaning. Ever manage to snap even a cell phone pic? Its been a while and I'd love to see them even rough. Hope the life drama works out, sounds like a damn trainwreck but there is light at the end of the tunnel that's NOT another train....

Re: More stock items on our stock page!

Between you and Jamie, I am being tempted into a 15th century kit I can't afford... Maybe when he gets sizing worked out I'll be back to order couters, arms (fluted) & those awesome scalloped shoulders. We might have to discuss other pieces then too. I'd like to try these out with my 14th century ki...

Odd...

I offered the same service last year after posting a complete step by step how-to including leather edging. I even showed a simple edge braid to prevent your fighting tunic from getting wear spots.

And there were only *crickets*

Good luck in your endevour, it is a needed service.

Tom, When you say you want a Baselard or Dagen that's kind of like saying you want a "Chevy" There is a HUGE amount of variation within that style. Re: An open question to those who are making rubber weapon h

My motivation for asking is that, various forms of these rubber weapon heads have been out for YEARS and there's only a few variations of styles. I'm assuming the ones from Purpleheart, revival, mandrake are being pressure molded & vulcanized so then I assume the issue is mold costs. Can these be la...

Re: An open question to those who are making rubber weapon h

The axe is from mandrake. You can get the at windrose, or by my hand sometimes, or another vender. The Lucern hammer looking bad boy is from revival. Pro tip. You can get the 1.5" paving blocks to make your own rubber heads. If you have a scroll saw (the bench mount, not a hand held saber saw) you ...

Do you have any interest in selling that rusty one from outside your shop? I've been wanting one to artificially age/weather before heat converting the oxide.

The whole idea is taking a step towards and flirting with an "As armoured" combat standard.
