keep your stuff- start your own group! You've put four years into this, you likely have at least a clue by four by now. Think about it, it wasn't that long ago that this was all new for everyone and the guys who taught you or the guys that taught them were feeling there own way around in the dark. J...

quandry over new fighters drive

Hi All! Heres my quandry- I have some young new fighters, switching from Amtgard who say they want something a little more...more. They show up at practice fairly regularly but rarely ever get in armor. They have excuses why they can't get in armor (I worked all day, I have to work tonight, I forgot...

What if the blow is robbed of it's power by the armour if said person is wearing the "assumed armour standard"? This one used to happen to me when I wore a mail byrnie. Actualy, I wore less that the "presumed armor standard" and calibrated accordingly. What would happen is that ...

I may be interested. I would like to see a pic with a quarter on it for comparison to make sure I'm pictring the weave right. also, I'd like to see a pic of the garment to make sure it has a straight weave all the way down IE no 45 degree seams at the shoulder. Also, when you have it on at a 42 in c...

I played briefly a couple of summers ago in Southern Florida having come from New Hampshire. I can attest it was like breathing soup. It was awfull. Not too complicated. if I hit someone and they don't take it I have to hit them harder, where there is no armor, or both. Also not compicated. There have been several times (twice in one tourney I won)I hit someone b...
