Congratulations to D Sebastian
Be it known that yesterday at Boredom War, Sir Artorius Watson took on his first squire- Lord D Sebastian.
Congratulations to both of them. Neither one could have picked a better or more suited person to enter into such a relationship with.

There is one exception to this though. His Majesty Atlantia Cuan found a two inch wide tape that uses woven filaments in a grid pattern. It seems to hold up real well and can be found at most office supply stores. I use that stuff when I remember to get it too. It holds up a lot better than any othe...

Agnarr, Your original point was lost on me in your original post. Thanks for the clarification. I BTW, wholeheartadly agree. Anything less than 14g is a mistake and in my opinion, 14g is not heavy enough either unless it is stainless and has reenforcing bands such as on a spangenhelm. I did not btw ...

Sir Vitus, My concern was not that he himself was casting dispariging remarks about our knights so much as the effects his post about an individual knight could have in devolving into a pre Pennsic mudslinging competition. I as you have been on this board long enough to see utterly pointless battles...

I recomend Ironmonger for baskets to everyone. They are well made, solid, stong, and not ugly or plain like many baskets. I`ve been using them for years and I`ve never had one fail in the slightest. Right now I have two of the heart shaped ones, one stainless one mild, my girlfirend has an L shaped ...

On my siloflex sword I lubed the rataan with beeswax AND heated the siloflex with a heat gun a little at a time where it was going in AND pounded it with a rubber mallet. I also used skin on rataan. The result is a sword with a decently light weight that hits with authority and should last a good wh...

My hero when I first started fighting was (at the time) Master Lucan von Drachenclaue without a doubt. The wasters wouldn`t work I think. Even good ones when impacting helmets , steel armor, baskets, and eachothoer over and over again would degenerate quickly, start to splinter and fail catastrophicly. Then theres the lack of give. I`m sure not letting you hit my barely armored thigh with one of thos...
