My serious concern is the abrupt, overnight drop in quality. Whether true or not, this has the appearance of being a single high quality run to gain interest, and then once orders start rolling in, a slapdash hackjob to fill all the orders. Or...... Nope, that wouldn't be right.

The picture doesn't show it very well. Basically, it is a 10' square on the top with a peaked roof, tapering down on the walls to a 20' square withe the corners cut off so that the footprint is more of an octagon shape.

Made a tent- any chance it is "period"?

Made this for an upcoming event. I didn't have any particular design in mind, I started just trying to make a cover for a pop up sunshade, and it kind of morphed into this. In the end, I think it looks cool, but is there any documentation for this kind of style? http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-a...

Do you feel the same way about their other blades?

I've never noticed any difference, myself.

Is you "meh" with the specific blade, or with Darkwoods blades in General (IIRC, you are a Zen fan?)

In what way?

Other than the funky feel when sliding an edge against another blade, I don't notice any difference from my Darkwood bated blades.

One of our Northshield White Scarves has a pair of them. I've been hit by them PLENTY of times.

I've handled them a little, and they flex and handle just like Darkwoods regular blades. The only difference is that it feels a little weird doing a thrust while sliding along the opponent's blade.

Context, your Excellency.

Martial Combat may be the appropriate place for the things you mention- the problem is on the field, so it is taken care of on the field.

That isn't what is being discussed here.

Not sure how the barrier comparison applies at all.

If you are just looking to be legal, and not worried about aesthetics, what I have seen done is to take the face grill off a hockey helmet and attach it to the back of a regular fencing mask.
