Why would we need special treatment? 6-8 of our squires ought to be able to handle some odds and have a good time...

It's even better because the lady with her back to us is my own lady, who has never had the opportunity to be present for any of the Couter deeds, even though the arms I bore at the first deed, and which are emblazoned on the box the couter resides in, are hers. To tell my own small part in the stor...

Eadric of Stonemarche: Couter Tenan

Eadric was made a Tenan of the Couter at the Combat of 30 at Pennsic. His story is still to be told, but he owes it to us. Here we are under my banner, couter in his hands, while the pennan of Jehan de Pelham blows into the scene from the right. [img]http://deedsofarms.com/gallery/photos/Johannes/Co...

V,

I knew you were having a rough time at the war, so didn't press you. We had a spot for you in case you showed up, but didn't publicize it much to be sure we were covered. We can set something up for Gulf, no sweat.

We are getting close to clear differences between Plaisance and Outrance deeds.

The steadicam operator is part of the crew that puts out the SCA event videos, I egged them into filming us this year, so the footage from it will likely be in their product when it comes out.

Working out 30 business here was never planned, it just evolved that way, and since it is a fairly closed event, with invitation necessary, it has just stayed that way. I don't think any of us really thought about putting the info in a more public place. Nigel and I had agreed that greaves would be ...

Just got in the door a few minutes ago, so I haven't had a chance to look at pics. I probably had the least fun I have ever had in the thirty (getting captured in the opening seconds sucked ) but it was pretty fulfilling being Captain, and I am looking forward to next year already. I'll try to put a...

Castus, let me know if you have any other problems. Like I told you, I haven't seen this problem before, and try to stay on top of it in case it is something we need to address. Gift certificate is coming your way (might be after Pennsic, we're loading the truck right now).

It has been the custom in the past to allow the rescued to re-engage only after the rescuer creates complete separation, he may not help his rescuer to free him. Dragging by the arm or scruff of the neck has become a common thing, and I can say it makes fighting off a rescuer extremely difficult sin...
