Eesh...well, its not as easy as casting silver, that's for sure. The melting point of brass is 1652-1724 Fahrenheit. You'll need a furnace, crucible, tongs, and heat-resistant saftey gear. All of the brass casting we do here at the Uni uses sand casts. if it helps: a deep hole can work for a furnac...

It is indeed cheap and you get what you pay for, and yet it is maille... First off, as already mentioned, you don't need maille to fight at Hastings. Second, I think you're not allowed to wear that shirt at Hastings. IIRC butted maille isn't allowed, only riveted. Also, that shirt looks like alumin...
