Getting a rhythm takes practice. You need to think in circles, loops, lunar orbits rather than straight lines, in general. Circular movements, even when in very tight orbits will take less energy, and be faster than moving in line segments with hard stops at the points.

Gothic is a style.

It is not an acid, it is a salt, I believe...

I've seen it done in glass bakeware outside. There wasn't any problem. As far as how it looks, well, that is like art- you like it or you don't. Test a piece first, if you don't like it, do it differently, or decide you don't like the results.
