Gentlemen, These armors are FAKES! Ironically, that's why they look so good... There is also the hyoid bone to be concerned about. If it is bruised, or broken, you can die. If it is broken, it can be a sign of murder by strangulation.

Over a decade ago we use to have a women in her 20s fight in a transparent lorica. She wore frilly underwear underneath it. For a lot of guys it was distracting and she used that to her advantage in the fight.

A round stick of rattan would hit on a single point, it is round. I sometimes add a few coats of Elmer's Glue and water (decreasing the water each successive coat) to try and seal it a little. It isn't anywhere near enought to add any weight or rigidity. Am I wasting my time when I do this? Quite po...
