I just heard that alot of the ones made since the factory re-opened have snapped, making them ok for light sparring but anything heavier then that like ACL is out of the question. Im glad a few of them are holding up though I may get on of the blades in the future.

Hey folks,
Like the title says looking for a decent blunt longsword for training. I really just want the blade but I hesitant on getting the tinker bastard sword blade due to poor reviews. I am open to other alternatives but cost is an issue so it has to be cheapish.

they are effectively 6" at the bottom and 2-1/4" deep at the bottom lame the lame is 7 and 1/2" long
