Hobnails vs cleats

Are there any rules against hob nailed boots or shoes being worn on the field in Amy kingdom as far as any one knows? Cause modern cleats look line dog squeeze. And hobnails are period and would add all the grip you could want if added to period shoes.

I wear al lam and it's padded by a single layer of linen tunic and a bit of fat. Every thing else that's been said is true. You may wanna add more padding but I just kept removing till it got where I liked. Next stop was neked. So tunic them armor. YMMV.

I know about iron and al oxid making for a nice hot fire and if you don't some will jump in here talk about this being dangerish I'm sure. But. I had iron shavings sitting on an al road sign. The rust stains did a good job of rusting the al. Which lead to tryin to rust stain al to give an iron look....

Here is everything I know - they are mostly finished with the run - butran out of fabric. They put in an order with the mill somewhere overseas, and it's on a boat somewhere being shipped. last i heard he has no access to Ti wire and as such has completely cleaned up his Q of custom SS stuff - while the Ti stuff waits. This is total hearsay and i have actual clue as to whats going on but that was how a buddy said he got is custom SS suit in a about a week. YMMV.

There ISA YouTube and I have seen where a guy takes a piece of cold steel and using only hammer and anvil beats it to yellow hot in short order. Some on a real computer can prolly find it and post a link but it's very unlikley to happen with out. Some serious effort to make it so.

Steer board was a stress snap I think. They were in the middle of the lake and in a turn when it gave way. You can see the repaired area in the pic. That boxy looking bit above the water - that's the fix.
