Re: Authenticity Police! Is that a basket hilt?? (in fun)

Tell me again why we in the SCA can't look more period on the field?? Laziness and excuses. That and leaders need to lead (by example and by teaching). I don't know you (we met once at Gulf Wars), but I know you certainly lead by example. What percentage of your fellow knights, counts, dukes and ot...

OK, since no one seems to be interested in this piece at the set price let me ask you this. What do you think is a fair price for this helmet? It doesn't do me any good sitting on my shelf. Ingelri Your helm is a fine helm. The good: The lines seem clean and the overall shape is good. The bad: The ...

I would argue AGAINST Armour and Castings. If you are going to spend $200-250, get something that approaches that in cost. Armour and Castings, while great for the money, is fairly inexpensive. Buy it when you want to get something for $25. If you want to get a gift at $200-250, get something that y...

Enormous improvement.

Little things you can improve over time, but your improvement in a short period of time (and very little money) is remarkable.

IMHO, you are to be commended for your willingness to accept change and the hard work to enact those changes suggested.
