There are two ways: Applique This is embroidering a piece of fabric and then attaching it to the "parent" fabric. The easiest way to attach is to use wonder under (iron) and then doing a zig-zag around the edge as Tom suggested. The hand embroidery would take while, but looks amazing when ...

Re: Meinhard at Rivenoak Newcomers Tournament - 24 April 201

Well, I had brought the T-tunic I'd been covering it with, but it must have shrunk in the wash, because it was cutting off circulation in my arms. I ended up fighting without it, because I liked being able to defend myself. No one offered a replacement, so I assumed no one else cared. They had a Go...

Here are a series of a Dark Victory Armory body harness in action. The chest size is the maximum this shirt is going to open to. If you are close to that size, go the next size up. Trust me. You need to measure over the top of whatever garment you plan on wearing under it. Ice This! I would recommend at least 4 (maybe 5) inches more than your chest size PLUS any a...

I've never heard this complaint before you made it, and it just seems very bizarre to me. If someone is covering their "knee line" and you accidentally hit them in the knee because you misjudged where the knee really was, then it was an accident. No. It is taking advantage of your opponen...

I actually think the "redesigned" shirt by blackbow is a bit overkill. I would like one with kidney/collerbone/shoulder (same as lacross) with something on gut area (since mail is pretty poor against spear thrusts). I agree and would probably have opted for a bit less. Still, if it doesn'...

Re: SCA buhurt helmet

The dome forged of 2 mm steel. The back plate and the visor are made of 1.6 mm steel. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but that sounds a bit lightweight for SCA combat. Unless I am mistaken, 2mm is a tad heavier than 14g and 1.6mm is a tad heavier than 16g. Most SCA fighters want their mild steel helms...
