Hi there

Howdy Koops. Take your lames and dish them in the same dish your knee and elbow cops were dished in. When you assemble the joints you will be amazed at how much nicer the joint will work, it alows you to use shorter rivets also because the lames stay tight to the cop through the whole range of motio...

Hi there

Hail Good Baron, I do it like Chris does, welding rod about 8 inches long witha hook on each end. One end hooks to the gaunt strap, innner cuff, or metacarpal, and the other end hooks to the vambrace, or Breastplate opening, or elbow strap. If you hook to the bp it holds the arm bent at a nice posit...

Hi

Hi Pedro, Nice looking helm here. Yes as was said, dish the trim first but at this point I would take a rubber dead blow or a rawhide hammer and mash the fleur de lis down to the helm over a large ball or pipe stake. If this dont work just add more rivets to it to suck it up. Keep up the good work. ...

Gladiator Styled Arms, New Design for Suspended Vambraces

Hi there, This was a fun order to build recently. The customer didnt want a full Roman arm but just vambraces, So I made these from aluminum plates mounted to 3 leather straps with brass rivets. They are bendable and flex when you bend your arms. As I wore them I wanted to make them suspended like l...
