Good advice Mattmaus, thanks for the tip on the cold tongs ill try that. normally I cant get an even twist unless I have a wrench on both ends of the piece, But by cooling the outer part a bit it would even out the twists.

Hi there Otto, a jigsaw is a nightmare cutting steel, just get a HF throatless shear if you dont have one. Or a Beverly. or a bandsaw or ANYTHING besides a jigsaw. I must admit my B2 dont like stainless though, its tuff stuff. Good luck

Hi there, Id pass on those if I were you. The articulation leathers looks like 2-3 oz upholstery leather, And like Angus said the half cuff is weak. You can get decent ones on ebay all the time for the same price.

Hi there
Hi there, yes the HF shear will cut 1/8 alum easily, the shears work ok its just you have to weld them together and replace the blade screws with nuts and bolts. I used one for a few years, seemed to be a decent cheap tool after you get done fine tuning it.

Hi GP, Looking great as usual, I still like the sallet the best and the armadillo helm next. The only change I would make to the armadillo helm is to add some detail to the cheek plates. Decorative plates, or even just some rivets, or anything else you can think of. Keep up the great work and thanks...

Hi there
Howdy, Im not sure if the English wheel would work but if you start dishing in the center with a small dish and move out toward the edge with progressively bigger dishes its pretty easy. I used steel tire rims from wheel barrow size up to large truck size. Brake drums work good too, they make a boto...
