Howdy Lorenzo, The snake shaped thing in the pic is just the first one I ever made in the forge. The ones I make now acutally look alot like snakes. I just use him for an anvil ornament to keep me company in the shop these days.

Hi there Ed, I love Close Helms and cant wait for the day that I have enough experience to build one, Sha-ul said a Barbute would go good on this suit also. I got a Barbute pattern and will give one a try soon but the Close helm will be a while yet.

The Cat Head Hammers are made like that for smithing by Heller, and a few other brands I think. Hi there, For deep dishes Id use a steel hammer with a big round face, use an Oxygen bottle bottom for a dish. Should be deep enough for you.
