Simple Von Prankh Barrel Helm, Thanks Mr Talbot

Heres a Barrel Helm I just built from talbots patterns. Rofl I forgot the last rivet by the eyeslot before pics. They are the best on the net that ive found. They almost make armoring too easy. Thanks Talbot.

Hi there

Howdy Sha-ul, the ball stakes look great and thanks for the link to get the balls. The bend in your T stake may be a bit too much but you can always alter the shape later if you need to. Nice welds there too.

Pitbull Tip of The Day #4

PBTOTD#4 is... Recently I added a simple bolt to the edge of my Drill Press table, the combination of being on the edge of the table, and a small raised platform alows you to use it on about 3 times the amount of armor shapes because you can drill the outside of dished objects. I can drill all the h...

So, I finally got around to looking at that bag of photos. Although it turned out to be three bags of photos, there no others of the woman's thorax. I did however find another woman's armor I built in the late '80s (?) The cuirasse and arms are based on early 15th c. English brasses. The central cr...

Hi there

Howdy Spearweasel. IF it was me I would use 1/8 inch hardened aluminum. You form it just like springsteel I think, you would just have to overbend, to achieve the bend you want because it will relax a bit as you release pressure. Super light, No rust.
