I got the wierdest bit of inspiration the other day...
Ok so I saw this kid walking past me the other day and he had a visor around his neck. To me it looked like a gorget, so would or wouldn't using one of those be a very good way to measure and pattern after or am I just being crazy?

I've tried both. I personally like the hard articulation better, but that's just because leather can be chopped... I usually just go for the non-articulated bp. If I were going to do eyebrows on it, I would raise a lighter sheet and make then on that and then rivet it onto the piece onto the assembly, but that's just to give the detail more depth and if it gets smashed hard enough a replacement would be easy to make as opposed trying to fix it on the nasal....
