there are many good ( and maybe a few not so good ) armourers on here. read a few reviews of thier work to see what others think and look out for warning signs like people paid a year ago and get no replies and ask others on here what they think. depending on what you want there are a good selection...

be cautious of using iron to dye things black as I have heard it can cause things to rot, I dont know if it would just shorten the life of an item but I suspect that is true. of course long term it may not matter much if an item lasts 80 years instead of 100 or 8 years instead of 10 and I do not kno...

it was and it will be done again about 15 to 16th january with mainly new people. I hope by feb we will have a more advanced one going on with some armour work as well. in this one the people first took a piece of 1/2" ( 12mm ) square steel and made a square point on one end about 2" long....
