Re: Newbie needs help....BAD

Do as Ingvarr sugests and get a carwash barrel. I then suggest making "Four mirror" style chest armour. Very simple and easy for your first time. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/365/charainara023hk2.jpg/sr=1 You can wrap canvas/some other cloth around the plates and sandwhich blue foam padding ...

FS Phoenix Steel SS Small Clamshells

These are brand new polished finish, stainless steel Phoenix Steel gauntlets. I just bought them at gulf wars and they have never been fought in. They would be great for polearm or spear. They have a very supple and silky movement and are wonderfully made. They are size small . I can post a picture o...

I have a question...I've been searching the site but w/out any real identifiers, I'm making zero headway. Last week or the week before I came across a thread that had a pic of a Hospitaller Knight (think he was a Hospitaller, definitely Crusade era) - all in black with a really great helm, a great ...

The bridge battles were epic this year. Those were some of the most vicious charges I have ever seen. Five 15 minute battles to see who controls the red line in the middle of the bridge...Hardly any prolonged spear duals. ^u^ (nothing against spears, but it sucks to be 15 men back on a bridge waitin...

Valstarr, I ended up driving 400 miles each way for two days. Got there Wednesday afternoon, set up camp, got armoured, and then almost passed out. Heat exhaustion, to the point where I was thinking, "If I pass out, I'll try to land on my side so I don't choke on my own vomit." I'm used to getting ...

I got the brass from Hobby Lobby. It's their craft brass so pretty thin stuff like 24-28ga. It's easy to work but not so easy that you make permanent marks in it by accident. After embossing it is pretty stiff. I am thoroughly enjoying this project and definitely will be making more of these. D'oh!...
