Sorry for bad typing in last reply. What do the folks out there think of my 22.25-22.5 ciircumference head going into a 23.5 circumference head guy's helm? Tall! Nearly 4 " tall on the sides-their shortest area!

Over 4" in front and back --and that is just where it appears to rests--plates in front and back go much further down than that for total windpipe, collar bone, top of chest an: back of neck, top of spine, and down spine protection in back

Is it possible to reverse the water-hardening in a few places to make it more flexibile?

I am interested. It is interesting piece. Is the part under the stitched waist more flexible than the part above? What size is it? i can go home and measure total height, but due to the design, this gorget should work very well for him. It is very high, and it can 'push down' then spring back up.

This gorget would not be loaner grade though-just so you know-it is a very high grade piece.
