I suggest hittin it with a belt sander and about 50 grit first... that way you can take a look at how many and how deep those dings really are.... if theyre overtly deep find a local welder ( professional) who knows his shtuff. and have him fill weld the pits .... THEN you side grind with flap sandi...

I dont know of the one in calontir but strawberry fields armory here in the OUtlands ( duke Maelgwyn) will be making valsgard 6 type helms soon in stainless 14 guage. they will be along the same lines as this photos.yahoo.com/sjernigen in the armor folder. Ill be helping him make a few for starters ...

Thanks everyone! I think the three most important points I got from this are: 1. Fight 2. Relax 3. Fun The relax is the hard part. Lord Vail and I fought on and off for nearly 40 minutes last night, and I was SO tired at the end! Totally exahausted. I hiked Mt. Fuji on Saturday (8 hours round trip)...

ive found the "cooler" melee shots are the combatant in action up close shots...

pick random people and frame a few on a central figure... generally during engagement.

makes an awesome pic

tried it before with little success... at 120 psi on a large Compressor it peens but not near as fast as the ol bell binging hammer... the other thing I was debating on doing is grindin the hammer side of the palm nailer down so its "V" to concentrae the force a bit more. the main problem is you hav...

too many rules... remember KISS? keep it simple soldier... stop thinking, your becoming your worst enemy... your sword is for striking, block with it and your NOT striking. block with it only when thats all thats left to keep you alive. its better to block your head with your sword than feel theirs ...

some Ansteorrans use the stuff with great results.

im a big fan of poplar for painted peices. its a much more durable and stable wood than pine. works great even for unpainted but has a slight green tinge to it. ( most oil based dark stains and a good coat of linseed make it look less glairingly poplar.)

a gambison...

basically you fit it to the measurement on the largest it will be ( flexed) and wear a gambison that squishes when the muscle flexes. and expands when its not keeping the vambrace from rattlinging about on your arm.
