I just came off a bad gaming session dealing with a buncha idiots who just like to frag and have no concept of tactics or... never mind. Let's just say I was in a snitty mood and took it out on the post 'cause...

Just a quick aside before I can take the time to respond in full to the other posts, as stated in the original post, the event in question was a baronial practice, holding a mock tourney. Therefore it would be correct for me to have hit lighter and played easier. Which I didn't, and should have. th...

Sir Samuel, I believe that what Trevor is refering to is that in some cases, male fighters (not all or even some.... but I have been witness to a few) come down harder on female fighters because they feel the fighting field is not the place for a woman. I do not say that the Outlands festers this b...

Hmmm. I've got a female friend that used to fight in Calontir. After she moved to the Outlands, she said that too many jerks tried to blast her off of the field, so she doesn't play heavy any more. I think I'm beginning to see why. well you can pm me who it was... Ill talk her and see if she wants ...

Re: Dark Victory Armor Review

I hurt a fighter yesterday wearing a suit of Dark Victory Armor. It was a baronial tournament style practice (SCA), playing full out, A games only. I'm coming to this discussion late but I don't know anyone wearing "Dark Victory" Armor that deserves an "A Game" fight. Most people in Newbie armor ma...

I am appalled that this is on the net, the disgraceful use of a stolen government safety sign. I guess it is ok, since the SCA Chivalry is condoning it. Why bother painting over this 'authentic' shield? This is a promotional video, it's message is 'hi, we are thieves of public property, come join u...

a wheel fan is what is commonly found in all heating and ac units in the house. its basically a louvered metal cage around a motor that spins.it spins sucking air from around the center and forcing it out at all directions. ( must be enclosed with an IN port and an OUT port to direct air)the IN port...

I spent a lot of my youth with those wet cooler fan thingys stuck in windows... steel? 16 gauge would be about the lightest you could go without it looking like it was planished with a shotgun in a month of fighting and even that is heavy after a while.
