there shouldnt be a lot of dishing where the fan meets the cop anywho.

the curling can be avoided by working heavy in the Center of the knee proper and lightly dishing outto the fan and inside section. a slight bend in the sides is all thats needed..

could be the 26 guage beercan metal too...:-)

Re: Fingered Gauntlets

Ok, I'm new here but here goes - I think there are a few people here who should read the sca armor requirements again. On #5 "Hand and Wrist Armor" , B : "A gauntlet made of rigid plates;EITHER lined with padding OR closed cell foam, OR designed to transfer potentially injurious impact to the surfa...

After being struck in the head: "High!" Actually that one can be a very legitimate call. depending on the shot and helmet. If one is wearing a high point bascinet or other high riding helm and shot comes that is high on the point with no downward force it can be called high meaning no damage to the...

Im a big fan of autobody sandpaper ( aka wet dry stuff) wet sand the helm with 200 grit and go down 250-300-400 grit then buff with jewelers Rouge.

even a cordless drill (14v) and a small 3" buffing wheel can shine it up asap.

when lookin at a helm and its plain that NO bars are spaced more than 3/4 apart scraping a guage along them IS folly. IMO if you cant visually look at a helm and see what 3/4 of an inch is then maybe inspecting shouldnt be in your forte. an 1" to 1 1/2" shouldnt even be an arguement... that is plain...
