mine was taken much from ramon lulls accounts of the ceremony... with the whole hosen symbolism the all night vigil, blessing of the arms, et al..

but being catholic makes you take ceremony much more readly.:-)

yup "B" type round brass ( which are plated actually) I was delighted they where plated though since the part sticking to the leather would rust quicker if it was miled. I still sanded the plating off on the 3/16 side to keep the brass from reacting to the steel and rusting ....thanks Konstantin

you can make your own out of shelf pins found on woodcraft.com web site.. I got 2 packs of them and stuck the 3/16 end in my drill and filed the head round and drilled a hole in it for the wire.. works wonders... theyre about 1 inch long half is 1/4 the other half in 3/16. a pack has about 25 pins a...

seems to me to be associated more with the styles of the times. Ive seen it more with milanese than gothic on effigies and such..
IMO thats what makes the kit appear proper is the use of mail in key points like the neck and waste.

I wear generally a kidney belt under gambison, leather cuisse/ "soupcan" knees, roudel elbows and leather vambraces.... so take it easy on my nipples theyre very sensitive after a long day of linen rubbing on them:-) (kidding) no really hit me like you would any other. and Ill block, dodge, teleport...
