I got a photo of me standing next to 3 german greatswords (zwiehanders) in the national history museum in Nurnburg.. Im 5'10" standing normally and the swords are about two inches shorter than me..... so 5'8" to 5' 5" is about right..... Ill try and dig it up off the mess that is my files and post it.

My Father Knights household is in that area and hits that practice talk to anyone with a white tower on a blue field and ask for Viscount myles or viscountess Katarina. Ill probably be moving back in the area after March but hell I never Know what Im doing for long range plans anymore.

I used 14 and 16 guage . 14 for helms 16 for everything else.

simply due to brass being softer and it thins when polished.
