I didnt deburr my plates from calontir trimthe burr is on a facial side from being punched when stacked together via lacing that burr doesnt damage the cord anymore than regular use will.

Ive not fought any crown tourney since fall 03 in the midrealm. Sir Ix inspires me to not only recover from injuries and surgeries and return to the field but to fight crown again as well..

IF someone takes an arm shot do they yield the bout? do arm shots count? does the combatant leave the field, change into an elbow cop, then continue? do combatants just target substitute and keep the sword arm that got hit? what about pensic where ...

I get mine from grainger.com DONT buy the skip tooth ones IR 14 tpi to 18tpi.. that change from TPI will cause a break.

Id say the skill is about the same. vastly different skillsets though..

take a look at some welds done by people who havent had the time or practice to learn welding well..

from personal exp, ive taken a punch to the side just above the belt line and pissed blood for two days after. certainly not a risk id take again.

Oh I know what the single piece kit is:D used to build crossguards from a lathed chunk and use 1/4 round stock down the sides.

just saying BMH should really bust hump and get a site going.. it would be huge business bonus.

You may be better off making cloth cuisses with the hose. Like some guys stuff the cuisses' tubes with batting or tow, you stuff them with hose. nope. its scandinavian looking, looks like a metal plate worn at the belt sideways, behind it there is a leather scabbard for a knife. dont recall it being very big.

I recall seeing a period knife scabbard that had a solid silver plate with cutwork on top of it in brass, the knife was held in leather behind the plate. anyone know what im talking of?

I think it is viking/saxon/ possibly le tene?
