I tend to believe If your not in both a physical and mental state that is totally prepared to take the field then you shouldnt.. injuries IMO are pretty straight forward. if your broke dont get broke even more trying to "suck it up" Ultimately YOU are responsible for you.. so if you run an increased...

Yeah. I assigned a guy to count and thats the way it went Royalists 155-Mercs 75. We had 2 guys drop out due to injuries (neck, knee), every one else stayed. At AWP last year there were approx 80 per side. 155? figure about what 40 knights/counts/dukes... Id call it a 3 to 1 senario... so sad I miss...

Re: Crown

Richard, You have the gist of it. I won crown the first week of May. My membership was good until July 1st. I called the Corp office to let them know the Monday after that crown that my membership would lapse in July. I had thought I had mailed the renewal in in March but had found it in the Car cl...

Re: Huh?

Samuel, I'm not trying to be mean here, but I've got to say that your post about stance was so vague as to be essentially without instructional value. Truthfully, it reminded me of a quote from Duke Gyrth's sword and shield manual : "Some say that all you have to know is "hit the enemy with the swo...

Re: center grip heater?

the righties ive seen pick it up generally notice two things about my shield.. the handle is canted over to keep the top corner up.. not a straight handle allowing it to pivot.. so a rightie will have to cant the handle back the other way to keep from fighting corner point down. those I know who ha...

What a crazy idea. Crazy enough to work, maybe? I've seen a few, what are peoples experiences and thoughts on this unusual shield arrangement? Thanks, audax the main reason I went to a center grip heater had nothing to do with period. Id seen some illustrations and thought " hmm wonder if that woul...

Drill the corner of that center grip heater 2 or 3 times with a good shot and see how long they can hold a center grip with corners. It seems to me to be the "Magic" weapon of the moment. have you tried this brother? cause I know personally a lot of people have and it dont fair very well for them.....

One of my greatest concerns as a Knight is a growing animosity I agree. IMO in war I see it as a serious safety risk to your opponants and those still on your side alive... being in athe ground I think its been proven "dieing defensively" does remove a lot of potential for injury on the fighter on the ground... its the ones that have to walk over you nice and gingerly w...
