Use your favorite. If you lose, you can't blame your choice of weapon. An observation regarding your interjection of an inappropriate consideration re sword and shield. The current context of the Eastern Crown tournament involves a round robin of great weapons only. There won't be any sword and shie...

Your Grace, the only way to be sure is for you both to go out and have 10 passes mixed form, then swap weapons and have 10 more. Then post it on youtube so we can watch! ! Maybe, he is a very good great swordsmen and I am a very good polearmsmen. Switching I doubt would prove anything. If you won 8...

Outside. Always err on the side of safety. Agreed. In addition to the regular gauge I have, I also have a 1" wide, 1/2" deep "pass/fail" guage, specifically for marshalls who either don't know the rules, or don't have the correct gauge on them. Never had someone so far question ...

I have carved single sided swords, but since most of the time I start with a strait 2" diameter rattan log, I could carve only a subtle bend into a stick. If you want something like this, http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB3/download/file.php?id=37741 , I suggest you contact one of the other ...

New "In Stock" section:

http://foxknife.com/producthome.php

I have received permission from Baron Eirik of Munitions Grade Arms to post on my website those items that he has ordered for resale, but haven't been delivered to him yet. Expect the "in stock" section to slowly build then suddenly drop to zero.

I did find one problem that I can't correct: the web page maintains two separate shopping carts. If you order something from both the standard waster and design your own sections, the system will make you go through checkout for each section separately. Fixed. Still working on shipping on the site.

My helm is a wonderfully crafted, well fitting piece of steel art that I have loved for decades. Re: Legal fist weapons?

Back in 1990, I had a friend who had a brilliant idea: he would do a rolling somersault towards his opponent and his opponent would be so surprised that he would not block the thrust that followed. We couldn't convince him it was a bad idea, so finally Quintin said, "Maybe we don't understand w...

Re: Legal fist weapons?

You would have to 1) Make design rules for how these fist clackers cold be safely used (how much padding is enough, can a punching gauntlet contain steel on the wrist or the back of the hand, etc). 2) Change the armor rules so that our armor won't damage your hands - my helmet has a small blade rig...

Looks fabulous, but it's going to sting if you ever hit anyone flat.... The edge has considerably more sting than the flat. Those edges(flats/fuller) are not as sharp as they look, would no doubt leave a cool mark on an unarmoured peice of skin... The strapping tape and mylar duct tape rounded those...
