Hey Rev... you still at the same address that you were at about a year ago.

We never did work out the fencing mask thing and it really doesn't fit me, so I've packaged it back up for a return trip.

Do you do fencing hoods? if so... how much?

I've only got a few applicable books and a couple history type ones... it came to me that they'd been sitting on the shelf un-opened for over a year, which likely means I don't really need them as I'm not using them. Most of what I'm getting rid of (and is remotely appl...

Selling Question/ Best of the Hammer Set (4 books)

I'm likely going to sell off my set of Best of the Hammer books (complete set of 1-4)... but have no clue at all what to ask for them.

Can anyone help me out there?

I'm likely to be selling some other books as well... I like pounding the steel... but I never seem to read the books... just buy them.

Actually, in this particular style of helm, an "inner placed" cap plate would be easier than in a traditional barrel helm... at least for me. On this helm style, the crown plate is larger at the top than at the bottom. The cap plate would set down in the opening and not fall out... a problem which v...

I've made 2 of the helm you're now making... but on mine, I made the edge of the cap external instead of internal. In that respect it was no harder than a normal barrel helm.

Internally attached caps are a royal pain in the ass! (been there, done that, hated it every time!!!)

Rust Characteristics of Aluminum?

The title really tells most of it. I'm going to be using some aluminum (stout stuff) in my personal armour and wondered how well is deals with rust/oxidization.
