Easiest way I can think of would be a 4 piece design... 2 for the top, and 2 for the bottom (front and back) and some careful welding and clean-up.

Like I said, I'm pretty sure I could, just can't take a commission on something I'm not comfortable with.

Measurement on a celtic helm is just a simple "headband" type measurement. Wrap a tape measure around your head at forehead level and give me the result. Also, let me know just how much space you want left for padding (I normally leave 1 inch on all sides).

Thanks much for the kind review. I hope the helm works out for you... and I still think painting it might be a plan... your choice, of course. or... you could blacken the whole thing and re-polish just the eyeslot cross... that'd be kinda different. Painting would show off the details better though.
