i spent the better part of 17 years as part of a heavy shieldwall unit in caid. we always had a banner bearer on the field. traditionally they stayed with the commander so everyone knew where he was and to act as a third line of defence for the commander. they would not seek out combat but if someon...

i love it.
personally if i paint anything it HAS to be perfect.
i will spend hours touching up miniscule flaws to the Nth degree.
BUT... i love other peoples work when the lines are kinde out of line and its a little bit crooked here an there.

i love what you have there so far.

looks great.
the only thing i would do differently is i would add a strap on the back where you only have the one.
disperse the wieght load on the one to two.
like on this one.
other than that its one of the better ones i have seen.
good job.

i also purchased a ambeson from them.
great price took forever to get here (like 5 months from ordering) then did not really fit very well for all the measurements they wanted.
not a bad product just not quite right.

we already have rules in place for combat and helmet standards.
not really much of a jump to say no visible plastic.
i really dont believe any newbie wont want to fight because we dont allow un covered plastic.
just make the effort to cover up and there is no problem
