so i contacted the armorer today to chech on the progress of my cuisses.
i was told my gauntletts were still in production and would be shipped as soon as they were done.




i ordered cuisses,

im not holding out alot of hope about getting what i paid for at this point.

i used to use a leather musculata from dark horse custom leather.
i removed the shoulders and just had the thick leather shoulder straps but it worked great hidden under a tunic.

if you are just going to wear them underneath something looks dont really matter that much.
stonekeep does have a large amount of basic knee cops in different sizes with different fans. for 10 bucks a pair.
if you dont want the fans just chop them off.

it is very nice,
i think adding the writinging around the rim is a great idea and i dont think it will detract from the face at all, honestly i think it would give the shield as a whole a more complete feel.

there is more finger flexibility with finger gauntlets (at least with mine) than clam shells.
plus i find i can get a better grip doe to being able to splay my fingers a bit.

ive had 2 fingers broken while using hockey gloves.
never had that problem with clamshells.
and now i have finger gaunts and shields which offer just as much protection with all the flexibility benefits of a pair of gloves.
