Well, I got my gab from Dever Fabrics, but here ya go: 1. Very little fulling. One side just fuzzed a bit, obscuring the weave. 2. The smooth side fulled, the diagonal weaving stayed the same. I wore the smooth side out. 3. As the gab does not full like a coat or suiting (heavy) wool does, you'll ne...

I've got the hand and a half. They definitely hit hard, easily, and can land dead. Balance on the hand and a half is 9 inches from the guard, which is about 5 inches further than I'd like it to be. A heavier pommel would fix that. Other than that, I like the thing. Revival sells the Cold Steel versi...

+1 To Milan's review. I bought a pair of Eric's arms and spaulders in the Spring of this year, and have been enormously satisfied with them. At 80 bucks, these things are a steal. I'd be snapping them up, myself, if I didn't already own a pair. And he builds them to your measurements! Custom-built, ...

Fantastic. Thank you for this, Aussie. I've been wrestling with using someone else's pattern, and trying to make it fit my build. Its so much easier to just tailor it directly off the body. Reached the same epiphany when I was making period clothes. Don't try and template it all flat, then make it f...

No problem, Broadway. I'm at a bit of a loss what to do with it, myself. I figured if I at least blew out the rust, repainted the interior, knocked out the worst dents, and rewelded some joints, that it would at least serve as a hat for someone. Got it from a friend who was getting out of the SCA. ...
