the "Niederstotzingen Helm"

Anyone ever heard of of have pics of said helm?

Apparently its a lammellen helm and is listed in Guy Halsall's new book 'Warfare and Society in the Barbarian West'

a friend is inquiring about it and I have never heard of it.

btw, i have recieved the first of the two articles from Waffen und Kostümkunde

I have also found translators for the article and have gotten them all copies of the relevant pages (its divided up between 5 people)

as soon as i get the full translation, i will make it available to the public

Unfortunately my library doesnt have any of the Waffen- und Kostümkunde pubs so i will have to try to find it some other way;(

Yeah, all the (limited) info I have on it says its still in Prague.

I contacted Egfroth for some additional info but he too doesn't have much on it.

He suggested I contact Nicolle and maybe Edge or Paddock.

Any of you guys around? I'd appreciate any help you can offer.

helm for my page but seem to be running into a brick wall when i do searches on the web to try to track down some primary/secondary sources
